Gurgaon is the sixth largest city in the Indian state of Haryana. It is the industrial and financial center of Haryana. Gurgaon is an important town in ancient Hindu mythology of Mahabharata. It is believed that the city of Gurgaon which literally means “Village of the Guru" was founded as "Guru Gram" by Drona. Drona was given a land by Dhritarashtra who was the king of Hastinapur. He was given that land in recognition of his teachings of martial arts to the princes.
All of his teachings still exist within the Gurgaon city, along with a village called Gurgaon.
